B.Sc Nautical Science

Approved by The Directorate General of Shipping,Government of India. Leading to Second Mate's Foreign-Going Certificate of Competency awarded by the D.G. Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India after twelve months of Sea Service. This enables the cadets to become Navigating Officers on board Merchant Navy Ships worldwide.

Course Duration: 3 years or 6 semesters residential course.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification Pass in (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% and with 50% marks in English language at 10th or 12th std exam.
Age Below 25 years at the time of commencement of the course
Gender Boys and Girls are eligible to apply
Medical Standard
Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under standard norms, with eyesight 6/6 in better eye, 6/9 in other eye and with no colour blindness
